STATE & CITY-BY-CITY COVID-19 POLICIES
Our BIA advocacy teams are working with State, regional and local elected officials across the State and Southern California to help ensure exemptions for homebuilding and associated businesses.
BIA-LAV worked closely with the City of Los Angeles, the County of Los Angeles, and all of our local governments to ensure that all the “Safer at Home” Orders considered critical and safe housing infrastructure needs.

JOBSITE SAFETY INFORMATION
We want to remind our members to diligently practice COVID-19 safety protocols for the health of yourselves, our industry and our entire region. Housing is essential to our residents and our economy, please do your part so it remains that way.
We are learning that some cities are considering shutting down services essential to our industry in disregard of the Governor’s recent Executive Order. This order includes housing construction as an essential service exempt from the Sate’s “Stay-at-Home” restrictions. Our goal is to work with every city and help them as much as we can.
